Add a vacuum to your grooming plan. I didn't know I needed this until I used one in when I was free-lance grooming. These are amazing! You won't have to give as many baths, your saddle pads will stay cleaner, no more barn dust stuck in your horses hair. I like the bigger version because it can live in your grooming stall. But if you don't have a dedicated grooming space I think the portable ones would be nice too. I will always use a vacuum when possible! True believer.

Recently bought one and love it! Surprised that with a couple cookies during the introduction both horses were fine with the sound! Their long coats are starting to look shiny too! Thinking this will keep their blankets cleaner too! Highly recommend it!

We curry a lot and our vacuum is a tool also. it is also a good training tool for the yearlings & 2yrs. they end up loving being vacuumed. especially right before going into the ring. to each their own.

Vacuums are seriously great in the northern winters! I always curry them first though to get the big dirt clods off, then use the vacuum to get all the copious amounts of dust off of them. Works great on horses with super thick winter coats when you could spend an hour brushing them and still be churning up dust.

This is hands down my favorite barn tool. I almost never need to bathe my horses because it is so effective at getting the horses clean. And, it saves me having to breathe all that dirt as I try and brush it off. Life saver!

Best grooming tool we’ve purchased!

I bought a Rapid Groom 25 years ago. Used the living bejeebers out of it and it still works like new. Best tool EVER especially during shedding season ( sucks up the hair ) and also if you have light colored or white horses because it gets the dirt up from the roots. It cuts grooming time down considerably. Mainly, get you horse used to it first. Once they figure it out, they love it.

First one lasted 42 years under heavy use; immediately ordered our second one! Best money we ever spent on our horses. Especially great for keeping your horses clean in winter.

I love my grooming vac! My stallion loves to be vacuumed! As with anything we do with our horses, the success or failure depends on how willing the owner is to dedicate the proper time and training to get the horse accustomed to new things. Most horses thoroughly enjoy the vac!
